Our quality control
Primacel foams are manufactured under highly-reliable quality control procedures that comply with international standards.
European legislation requires materials used for manufacturing medical products to fully comply with the European legislation with regards to medical devices (Directive 93/42/EEC), requiring materials to be covered by safety certification for toxicology and carcinogenicity.
Primacel products fully comply with the EU legislation in this area. They are confirmed by acknowledged testing institutes to be free from carcinogenic substances such as amines which can be found in Azodyes, from potentially toxic substances and from noxious substances. They are also confirmed to support high cutaneous tolerance.
Primacel use top quality European raw materials from world's best suppliers in order to maximize quality in the manufacturing process. Customer satisfaction is key to Primacel. Cardboard is recycled 100%.
A range of “green” foams, based on ecological materials that are not produced through farming, is currently under study in our laboratories.
